Overall the Glock 30SF has been well received. Some seem to prefer the standard G-30 over the SF version. I've been fortunate enough to try both and shot both equally well. Here's a very positive range report covering the G30SF.

One major drawback to the G30SF so far has been the lack of gun holsters to fit it. Apparently the frame differences between the standard and the SF are enough that an SF model won't fit a standard G29 or G30 holster.
