i have a concealed carry permit and i carry my gun on me when i ride. i have been stopped at license checks and it is no problem as long as you have a permit.

I’m not really taking this as a serious question. Maybe law enforcement trying to find new places to check for concealed weapons. None the less I’ll bite.
It depends on the situation and distance and likelihood of problems. When an escort for a former girlfriend, pretty much all the time. On a trip to Sturgis you bet. Bouncing around locally, nope.
There are some unsavory characters in this world. Even in the warm and accepting community of motorcycle enthusiasts.

Once I had some pliers in my pocket when I came off a bike.

I learned then that it isn’t a good idea to have steel on the body in a bike accident!

But there’s no earthly reason to carry a gun on a bike – you should be able to easily outrun any problem – except maybe a helicopter – and I can’t see pistol helping you much then.

Of course in the civilised world its illegal anyway – and there’s no permiit that allows it!

Here only a few special cops carry guns – the rest have a nightstick. Many people in this country have never seen a real pistol except in the museum – or overseas.

I hope you inbred Yanks that think you need to carry never ever come to the land down under!

If you can’t sort out a problem with reasoning or defend yourself without arms then you are pretty small in stature!

I carry a Colt 45 on my hip(L/s) for all to see and a 40 cal glock on the R/S to see. I have no problems at all when some rice burner car tries to cut me off and I reach for either one

yep..my gun is like American express….never leave home without it!!!…its not the point of “feeling tough” retards…….if you have a carry permit, it generally means you are responsible and law abiding……not a gun slinging cowboy……however, its better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it!!!..id rather carry my gun for my entire life and never have to pull it….then to be without it when needed.,,,crime is an unpredictable occurrence and violence has no prejudice, so before you people bad mouth those that carry guns, just think about what our ancestors had to go through to maintain our right to have one…!!!

Your telling me, you ride around with a gun? If your life is in danger every time you go riding around in your neighborhood or your area then you need to look into moving.
Your probably one of those guys that thinks “your a man” with a gun. It does not matter if you have a gun or not, your still no match for a 3,000lb. vehicle.but, you don’t think about that do you just as long you have your gun…..you think about where those stray bullets go when you miss….Awww! “did the big man with the gun forget about the innocent” YOUR A PUNK!

(for those it may concern)
Think about it…..when all those rights were put down in ink, it took 10 minutes to load one round into a gun.
