Introduced in 1997 along with the Glock 29, the Glock 30 is a subcompact version of the popular Glock 21 weapon. Carrying 10 rounds of .45 ACP ammo, the Glock 30 makes an excellent self defense or back-up carrying option.
Note that the Glock 30 models that were produced from 1997 to 2007 do not have a Glock rail. The newer models from 2008 on have an integrated universal Glock rail that will accept most any tactical flashlight or other rail mounted device. Holsters that are molded on the older generation Glock 30 weapons that do not have a rail, most likely won’t fit a new generation railed weapon.
